Adolescent Psychiatric

Serving patients ages 13* to 18, the Adolescent Program provides treatment and counseling for teens who have psychiatric, behavioral, and/or dual diagnosis issues.
*Patients 12 and under may be admitted at the discretion of a physician.

The inpatient program provides 24-hour supervision and care with a focus on stabilization of immediate concerns as well as support for ongoing treatment needs. A multi-disciplinary treatment team focuses on the crisis that precipitated the admission while strengthening the family system as support for ongoing treatment.  We provide highly structured individual and group therapy sessions, in addition to assistance with school work.  Family therapy and recreation therapy are an integral part of the program.  Discharge planning services ensure a smooth transition to follow-up with outside care providers.

Partial Hospitalization

The Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The program consists of group therapy, educational sessions, and activity therapy sessions. Other program components include weekly sessions with a psychiatrist, individual family sessions as needed, and an optional hour of study time each day.
