Adolescents

Our Adolescent Program provides treatment and counseling to teens (ages 12 to 17) who have a psychiatric disorder, behavioral issue, or dual-diagnosis.

Inpatient Care

The Adolescent Inpatient Program provides 24-hour supervision and care with an emphasis on stabilization and support for ongoing treatment needs. Our multidisciplinary treatment team focuses on resolving the patient’s crisis while strengthening the family system for long-term wellness. Family and recreational therapy are integral parts of the program and discharge planning helps to ensure a smooth transition to follow-up care with outside providers.

Psychiatric Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

The Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) meets Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The program consists of group therapy and educational sessions. Other components include regular sessions with a psychiatrist and family sessions as needed. Telehealth options are available at the therapist’s discretion after starting the program.

Group therapy facilitates personal growth and change through the exploration of life challenges and stressors with the benefits of receiving multiple perspectives, support, and encouragement. Psychoeducation groups teach a variety of skills for the improvement of functioning and emotional regulation. Topics may include stress and anger management, communication skills and boundaries.

Partial Hospitalization

The Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The program consists of group therapy, educational sessions, and activity therapy sessions. Other components include regular sessions with a psychiatrist and individual family sessions as needed.
